I have changed my mind!

My science teacher told us that we were going to be doing a project that has to do with earthquakes, tsunamis, etc. At first i was going to build two model houses but i have changed my mind. Now me and my two parteners Danielle and Hannah will be doing a news cast. I will first introduce the show then turn it over to Danielle who will tell the worst ten recent earthquakes and tsunamis. She will then turn it back over to me and i will tell ten ways to be safe duning an earthquake and ten ways to be safe during a tsumami. Then i will turn it over to hannah who will do a small report/update on Haiti. Then we will all close the show together. Let me know how you like the idea!! :)

my science project

Last week my science teacher told us that we were going to do a new project on earthquakes. We had several choices on what to do but i chose to build a model of an old time home and a model for a new time house. I will be making a very realistic model of both of the houses. Including landscaping and design. The reason my class is doing this project is to help us understand how earthquakes can be harmful to homes and how to build them stronger so they can withstand earthquakes. We have a whole month do finish this project. I will be blogging about how my project is going during this month.

Hi, My name is Macie and i am a sixth grader at Jasper Middle School. I am doing this blog for my Earth Science class. I am a first time blogger. This year in science we have studied the layers of the Earth, plate tectonics,and weathering and erosion. When we come back from Christmas break we will start studying volcanoes. My teacher is going to be grading me on my blog entries so some positive feedback would be nice!! :)
